Hobbit has been beatboxing to packed venues since he was 15. Rocking the mic at every given opportunity has gained him a loyal following, which has in turn led to numerous shows and collaborations with various live acts around the UK. From one-off shows to national tours, Hobbit has performed his live show in front of crowds of 50 to 15,000. Not only has he lent his skills to a plethora of advertising campaigns, TV and radio shows, both in the UK and abroad, but his own beatbox tutorial DVD, Do the Beatbox, was an instant smash hit and gained his YouTube channel over a million hits.
At the age of 21, this human beatbox is already six years deep into his career and showing no signs of running out of breath.
Hobbit has teamed up with leading UK dance agency, HeadNod; the first talent agency to showcase choreographed beatboxing back in 2005. Together they are now ready to unleash his new show, HOBBIT & the Girls. Orbited by four beautiful, sexy and most importantly, very talented young ladies, Hobbit’s new set is now eye- as well as ear-candy. Choreographed by world-renowned Mark Battershall, whose most recent credits include Matthew Knowles’ new protégés, From Above, as well as numerous pop videos and reality shows, such as ITV’s Coleen’s Real Women; Hobbit’s girls add the perfect pop panache to his underground beatbox stylings.
