Biography
At 21 years old, Grace Savage is a performer of many talents and is one of the UK's, if not the world's top female beatboxers. Having just completed a degree from Leeds University in Theatre and Performance, she is now settling in London and planning to enter for the next UK champs and world female championships. Having been mentored by and performed with the widely respected current female world beatbox champion Bellatrix, she should stand a good chance!
Her workshop experience ranges from all ages (some as young as 4 years old) and all environments (primary schools, festivals, birthday parties, upside down purple cow tents…etc.) always working on the philosophy that beatboxing is an accessible art from for all ages and every gender, of any ability.
As well as teaching and performing with other artists and talented beatboxers, always wanting to push her creativity to new limits, Grace Savage has been exploring the area of hip hop theatre; merging Beatboxing within live theatrical environments. As a member of the National Youth Theatre, a budding playwright and general all round performer, the stage has become a comfortable place for Gracious to B.
